Home to Fiji’s international airport is located on the western side of the main island of Viti Levu, known as the gateway to Fiji. The next stop from there is to the Village of Viseisei for a traditional village tour. This village is said to be the point of landing of the first Fijians who then scattered to different parts of Fiji, hence the name “Viseisei” which means to “Scatter”. Nadi is home to the biggest Hindu temple in Fiji and a visit there brings insight to how people of different cultures and religion have come to embrace their differences with tolerance and respect for each other. A visit to Nadi’s colourful fruit and vegetable market is an experience you don’t want to miss. The variety of fresh produce available is astounding and if you should be lucky enough to visit on a Saturday the abundance of every type of sea food from different species of fish, crustaceans and mussels will amaze your culinary knowledge. On your way back to Nadi you will stop at the mud pool bath.  A dip into these pools of thermal vents with a fusion of natural minerals will leave a therapeutic cleansing on your skin. There are facilities available to shower and change after your mud pool bath so a change and towel is necessary for this portion of the tour. The trip ends with a quick stop at the local Namaka market before you are dropped back at your Resort or Hotel.
